Turning a quarter was a really frightening thing for me. You are now 7 years away from high school, and only half way to 50. Lucky for me I had some really great friends and family members to remind me that I am still not “almost thirty.”
I had the pleasure of seeing the opening night of the Nutcracker in LA, which was mind blowing. As youthful as it is, you can still appreciate the art of these ballerinas and the dedication they have to their bodies.
On my actual birthday I hung out with my three year old brother and went to a park and taught him how to play Pac Man at a coffee house. Went to a lovely dinner with my family and friends at this eclectic italian restaurant. Followed by lazertag and arcade games at camelot, yes camelot…there is still one in Orange County.
I certainly do have a case of Peter Pan Syndrome, but I am just so thankful that I have family members and friends that encourage and support it.
